Title: East German SKS Stocks on GB

So what is the deal with these?  They obviously don't look like the original style Karabiner S stocks. Replacement parade stocks? Honor Guard?  Is there any source for the chrome butt "pad", either original or reproduced?

Tempted to grab one.... Just wanting info before committing.

They have been around a while.... They are real EG parade/guard stocks and are like the polish in that they have many many layers and are very stout but dont have the rear crossbolt.  The issue is.... You will have to fabricate a buttplate.

N/M, just found some pictures of one Martin08 did.  Amazing work.  May have to try it.
