SKS-FILES FORUM

Russian SKS45s are the most sought after on the market right now.  In my opinion they will never be "rare", but they do get expensive, especially for low productions years, as-issued guns, or Izhevsk arsenal.

• 662192484 (http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=662192484) | Russian SKS Rifle Izhevsk factory matching 1954 | 33 | $1,587.77  | 1954 | Izhevsk | As-Issued | Good | HM677 | Take a look at photo #18 and then honestly tell me if we as a community are good enough to be able to tell if a gun is 'unrefurbished', 'unissued', and 'unfired'.  I know I'm not.  This gun has been refurbished to some extent even if it's just a light sanding and some shellac.  The point is that it still has all as-issued attributes, so that's what we call it.  Easy peasy chicken squeezy.
• 667472933 (http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=667472933) | Russian SKS Type 45 Izhvesk ALL MATCHING 1954 NICE | 1 | $1,500.00  | 1954 | Izhevsk | As-Issued | Good | HЛ266 | I am not a big fan of Old Steel's receiver cover shots.  Way too close in to be able to see what you need to when dropping this kind of money on a gun.  Having said that, it's certainly a nice Izhevsk.
