Looks like a letter gun in nice condition?
Simple case of 'someone didn't know what he was doing'
Ouch! File under: “some people shouldn’t have nice things” rofl

Was a letter R too. Only 5 of those have ever been catalogued in the database. It's going to look great with a weld scar running down the receiver, and likely won't cycle worth a **** anymore either OK1 ???.
I'm convinced that Reddit is full of idiots who should not own firearms (or really any nice tools in general).

I read through the thread and it would seem the guy is, what appeared to be a younger person, in Canada as well.
"Get a bigger Freakin' hammer EH?" rofl rofl
Any welding on the receiver to that extent is going to ruin the temper. That's why it's not advised to shoot weapons that have been through a fire. Sad to see that.
A little JB Weld, I’m sure it’ll be fine thumb1 chuckles1
I was thinking "duck tape!"
I agree with everything RM said.
Impressive...
I've seen people tear a concrete slab up with a q-tip or tear a crowbar up in a sandbox.. but this... this is next level.. the aggression this guy must have..eh... rofl2 chuckles1
It's a parts kit now.
Yes…. exactly like this one actually. I sent it to Marcus to use as a fitting jig for his adapters.
